spring is around the corner

Hi... nothing new and exciting around here this week... stayed home all week, went to the Food bank on Thursday, (had problems with the program we use to keep track of the clients, everytime we added a client the program would take one away..would only hold just so many.. guess we need a new program, it isn't Word which will hold tons).. did a bit of grocery shopping, bought some cotton, boy i hate commerical yarn.. going to make a cute little cotton hat for a set of twins and my girlfriend's grandbaby..i have got them started, well one started, and do not like knitting them... so it will be a challenge...

Levi and I went to Agility on Saturday morning.. neither of us were brillant, but by the end of the class we had it figured out... wish we could have a practice run at the trials so we could figure it out before the run that counted..he is getting better every class... and his manners are getting better...

Steve and Clara came for supper, Ham, scalloped spuds, turnip/carrot, spinach salad, angel food cake with homegrown raspberry sauce.. talked Glenys into coming as Dave is away in Winnipeg... so we had to play "Sticks"  a form of Contract rummy... Steve was worn out, so they left after supper, and we had a quiet night..

Got our new satellite from Telus on Tuesday... sure is a nice picture... high definitation.. and a PVR..(personal video recorder)... very nice... and Toni, i have it figured out, so i can program yours so you never have to miss a Cornation Street again..  you can program it to record your favorite program while you watch something else..so i have it set to record the new series "Pacific" only when there is a new show... for Joe.. he wants to watch it..he is a history buff... i can tell everytime he has been in the house, the history channel is on..i always thought he would be a good history teacher as he love history and remembers it..drive me nuts sometimes with all his facts...

The time change sure has upset the sheep and the chickens..but won't take long for them to get used to the change..
Think i will start raking the lawn tomorrow, if it doesn't snow overnight again... dog poop everywhere..  ugly... take care... Sheila
